
Key FindingsThe eight reports on the Danish Experience Economy were released in June 2008 as a part of the project “Creativity, Competence and Competitiveness in the Danish Experience Economy”. The eight reports consist of eight analysis made by researchers with comprehensive knowledge and experience within the Danish experience economy.
The eight reports not only give an introduction to the Danish experience economy but also make a comparison of the Danish experience economy seen from an international perspective as well as it gives an analysis of different businesses.
Below you will find a short presentation of all eight reports as well as their price. Some of the reports are in Danish and others in English. Den danske oplevelsesøkonomi - Afgrænsning, økonomisk betydning og vækstmulighederThe purpose with the report is to identify and define the concept of experience economy as well as discuss the concept from a socio-economic perspective. The authors of the report are Trine Bille, cand.polit and PhD from the Department of Economics, Copenhagen University. Trine Bille has an extensive background in cultural economy and is now working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Organizational Economics and Innovation at the Copenhagen Business School. Mark Lorenzen has a PhD within business economics from the Copenhagen Business School and is working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Organizational Economics and Innovation at the Copenhagen Business School. His research centers around economic geography and regional development within cultural industries.

Events i den danske oplevelsesøkonomi - Den kollektive brusenThe purpose with the report is to describe the phenomenon "events" seen in the light of the experience economy. The report introduces a typology for events as well as it deals with differenct actors within the event business to identify the possible strategic opportunities and conditions. The author of the report, Jens Nielsen, is a musician and cand.scient.pol. Jens Nielsen has several years of experience as an event organiser e.g. of big outdoors events and operas. He has taught and developed and array of subjects within the experience economy both at the Copenhagen Business School as well as University Copenhagen and Roskilde University. Museerne i den danske oplevelsesøkonomi - Når oplysning bliver til oplevelseThe purpose with the report is to identify and discuss the possibilities and limitations that museums are facing in the experience economy. The public role of the museums in the experience economy is at display and a discussion follows on the part that museums play as a cultural institution in the experience economy. The author of the report, Dorte Skot-Hansen, is a mag.art in cultural sociology and Director at the Centre for Cultural Policy Studies at the Royal School of Library and Information Science in Denmark.
