Empirically, he has worked with innovation policies and regional development, the film industry (in Denmark, Bollywood and Hollywood), the design industry, the music industry and the creative class.

M.Sc (Economics) and Phd from Copenhagen University, Institute of Economics. Trine Bille has conducted research within cultural economics and cultural policy, e.g. coordinated a study of the Danish cultural policy ("Kulturens Politik") and a study of the cultural activities of the Danish inhabitants for the Danish Ministry of Culture. Trine Bille takes part in the project management and will contribute to both the research and the publications.
